HAPAG-LLOYD ships in Lisbon waters O ne of the largest European names in international shipping, HAPAG-LLOYD is the fifth largest container ship's operator and some of their ships can be seen in Lisbon regularly. Two HAPAG-LLOYD container liners photographed this April in Lisbon were the POWER, loading at Liscont, and VALENCIA EXPRESS, crossing the Tagus bar. Both are former CANMAR and Canadian Pacific ships. C Container Liner ontainer Liner The Container liner is a bag of the size of a standard 20 feet or 40 feet ISO container. Made from PP Fabric this lines the inside of the container walls and hence the packed material is safer than in any sack or FIBC (Jumbo bags/Big Bags/1 ton bags). The walls of the container support the weight of the material packed and therefore there are no chances of material damage or loss. The liner bag is placed inside the container and fixed using loops provided to all sides of the container. The filling and discharge options can be customized as per your requirement. The material can then be unloaded directly into the silos/tanks or could be loaded directly onto the packaging machines.
